Day 2 - Up & Raring to Go

Day 2 - after a nice cold bath in the river and a hot cup of nescafe made with river water and a peanut butter laced Pita, we packed our tent and was all set for an all new day. Our destination...Kem Kubang 1406m.

Meow making sure we go in the right direction. He is sticking to wearing his Teva sandals while i prefer my Timberland boots. We are after all ascending to 1406m. More fungi seen along the path.

Ahmad's Twelve taking a breather after trekking uphill for about an hour. Pretty flowers line the edge of the trail.

No plucking allowed unless one is willing to pay RM500 for it.

Weather was good making our trek pleasant and as we climbed higher and higher the temperature became more trekker friendly. Cool breeze blowing in the face and enveloping our heated bodies bringing our body temp down making it less exhaustive.
A good day to trek.
