1107hrs...we began our journey. We walked at a quick step as the campsite is 26.5km away and our mission - arrive before dark. Our journey had begun without even a stretch of the muscles. We moved on the word GO!

Trekking in one of the oldest jungles in the world is of course exciting and with camera in hand i was more than eager to record down my very first trip into these jungles at every opportunity i got. We were all very eager and excited even for those who have been here before. We charged each other up and headed for Kem Kor which is where we will camp for the nite.

We made our first stop at Kuala Luis after about an hour and a half of trekking just so we could take a breather & take a taste the river water before heading on to Kem Kor. We took it rather easy for the first day and most of us were exhausted from the long 10 hour train journey from KL but the excitement and thought of adventure alone had our andrenaline rushing.

First blood was also drawn on this trail for Meow and I. The leaches are out in force today. Fresh blood on the trail.
