Dawn in Gua Musang
The train pulled in to Gua Musang Station, Kelantan at the break of dawn. The sun was barely awake as were we. The air was fresh and the town had just woken up...probably cos of us.
I was awakened by the excitement of the rest of the Twelve and also the returning of the local sons and daughters of Gua Musang that were on the train with us. Small little town just like the ones where you get your kopi O in china cups and saucers or half pint glasses where folks sip from them with one leg on the chair.
Meow and I looking very innocent indeed to the day that awaits us. I needed my coffee and Meow just looks naturally like that. It was 0630 and our van to transport us to Merapoh has yet to arrive so we were just mucking around the station trying not to look like some jungle walla.
Only in Gua Musang can you do this...also when one is caffeine deprived in the wee hours. Unfortunately for me i was not able to explore this little part of M'sia where my aunt Michiko used to be stationed if i remember correctly. I think my ah poh has relatives & friends here too...i have clan members in this town. Don't play play i'm well connected...we'll cook you something to eat then you know. He he...
