Day 4 - Morning at Botak

"Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day."

I awoke at about 0700hrs to the din of the departing S'poreans. It wasn't them that woke me, it was my biological clock. Well the cold was partly responsible. The temp is akin to that of Genting Highlands. Difference is in Gentings you would have 4 walls keeping you warm. Up in Botak it's just the thin walls of my leaky tent. Not a very good sleep but sufficient to rest my aching body.
With gritted teeth Meow tries very hard not to shiver just to get a good shot. He is not a cold person he is just numb...sometimes. Sun's warming up the lovely cool morning. Just my kind of weather. Look at the hills beyond. Beautiful sight no?
Black is cooking congee for his team and Ahmad is definately not a morning person. Well he had a very bad sleepless nite. Too cold and too noisy courtesy in part to our neighbours. The S'poreans left early in the morning to peak Gunung Tahan. They were to leave straight for Kem Kor thereafter which took us 2days...by choice.
Peace and quiet reigned. Only the rustling of leaves and screeching of birds can be heard and also the soothing sound of the gentle breeze too.

You guys should have made noises using your pots and pans to reciprocate your neighbour's courtesy....following the example of our governments !
