Two Hailams Searching for A Waterfall

As we left the WOW day we decided to go in search of the waterfall we saw from Karak Highway when we came back from Kuantan.

We decided to be a little adventurous and venture in search of our waterfall. We headed uphill and drove as far uphill as we could on the beaten path and found a place to park. We got down and heard the sweet sound of a running river and we looked over the side of the hill to assess where the river was but we could not see it but we knew it was down the ravine. So we took our stuff which was nothing at all really as we had not planned this. We didn't even have water or food with us. We were only armed with our handphones.

As we trudged along the long and winding road we were hooted by a tractor coming up behind us. We asked the ah pek if he could give us some directions to the waterfall and since he spoke mandarin which we both so expertly Don't Know...bananas we is mate, he asked us to hop on an he will give us a lift to as far up or in to the jungle as he was going and so we continued on tractor.

Along the way we were followed by this smilling Nepali carrying something up to his taukeh's farm. He kept asking me to take a picture of him. He couldn't stop smilling which i thought was really rather enrolling and so i obliged. Finally our tractor ride came to an end and the ah pek dropped us off to continue our search on foot.
