Feeding Frenzy

Jr was born to Bonnie & Clyde not too long ago. They both were very excited and both risked their necks to take turn and roost in the nest that they built. I don’t know when Jr was born but I only noticed it when mummy and daddy came back to feed junior they would chirp out loud and Jr would reply with a single…cheep! Bonnie or Clyde would then cautiously sneak a peek through the branches and leaves of my ficus, with morsel of food in beak, and make a break for the nest and shove the food down Jr’s throat. Once fed Jr would be silent lest he be found out.

It was quite a sight to behold especially on a weekend morning when I laze about my humble abode.
