Gingerbread House

Once upon a time there was a boy named Hansel and a girl named Gretel. They were lost in the woods. They walked and walked and they came upon a Gingerbread house...

That's what we found along our way to Kota Belud. We took a few detours just to explore the land. We went off the main road and into Karambunai to see a beautiful stretch of sunbleached beach nestled in a beautiful cove carressed by temperental blue sea and joined to the heavens by the clear blue sky. Breezy salty air caressed our faces, leaving fantasies of pirates & wenches and salt sprays on our skin. Shangri-la's Rasa Ria has just as beautiful a beach too and a warmth about it's resort.

The magic is in the journey and not the destination. If we but choose to stop and smell the roses, one would find that life does offer some interesting sights and insights and...the Gingerbread House.
