The Miracle of a Wedding
07.07.07 the day the world got married. Everybody seems to be getting married on this particular date. Auspicious or precautionary measure for the groom. Men have a tendency to forget when they got married...especially during the anniversaries so they choose a date that they can easily remember...and i'll bet they forget it once they are with their buddies having a drink a year later. Bummer.
On this day, i celebrated with my dearest friend Andy as she joined hands in holy matrimony with her beloved Morgan. Finally one of us is married. As she journeys into wedded bliss i stand and admire and share all the ceremonies before me and yet still can't fathom why i find it ever so difficult to commit to this journey.
The unity candle is really pretty too no? Looks like the candle is more than just a wad of wax with a wick inside...today i learn something new and today i loose one more friend to the circus called marriage.
