Apom


Apom...my favorite kueh kueh.

A must whenever i go back Taiping or when I'm in Penang. It's way cheaper up north. In KL it's 50sen a piece. In Taiping & Penang 20sen. Made of egg and flour, good only when it's hot and crispy. It has to be sufficiently egged and not too floury then it will be tasty, otherwise...crappy.

Footnote: it's one of thjose things thats gotta be eaten hot. Once it's cold it's soggy, saggy and crappy. You been warned.

Can't wait for my next trip back for my apom tens.
