The Pinkies

Life's been pretty occupied of late with my involvement with LP109 or Pinkies as i affectionately call them. They are 26 strong and they stand for Love, Peace & Harmony to create a Better Society. As they go about creating results in their lives i too go about mine. Blogging has taken a backseat to all of these but blog i will as there is just too much happening not to share.

Emcee

I love this shot of me shouting in celebration of my cuz's wedding and in the far right is my mother screaming in celebration too. How alike the size of our mouths or was it our unity in celebration that made us look so alike?

Actually this is my third time emceeing a wedding. First was for my LP many years ago which i did in partnership with another buddy of mine so it was less scary. 2nd was for Andy my very good friend which was scarier cos i was amongst strangers. I only knew her mom and her in the whole hall. Third was at my cuz jeanie's wedding which i was rather nervous but b'cos of her relaxed and easiness about everything allowed me to flow into the whole process and truth be told...i enjoyed it.

Since then i have received request to emcee for a friend's wedding and other weddings too which Jeanie is making arrangements for. She has officially appointed herself my gig manager and b'cos her own wedding was so well planned and executed, she is planning to do so for others...at a fee. So...anybody wanna get married?

Speechless

I've Fallen for a Cock!

That chick on my shoulder is April. Borne to Avillion 6 years ago. Has quite a personality. Dances on command and will follow when asked to do so...by the right person of course. Adorable little chook he is. Makes me wanna get one as a pet. I have the space but am just thinkin of the chook shit that's gonna plaster every square inch of the floor. Not much a dog or cat person, i love fish and fowl and the occasional amphibian...like Charlie...oh and chicks too. :)

Simple Gal

Happiness is when one enjoys the simple things in life, appreciates the abundance that the good Lord has blessed upon us and Be thankful. This is not fish ala meneuire...just fish burger but it taste fantastic when had under the brolly next to the pool. I have been with many women in my time but i have never been with one who enjoys the simpler things in life more than my sumandak.

Fabric in The Sand

Relationship is like a fabric in the sands of time. Delicate & pretty. Strong yet fragile. Pretty yet it can get real ugly if not taken care of. All held in place by the threads that bind. Any tears if left unmended can only get bigger & worse. As pretty & as strong as it may seem it does need a lot of loving and care. Tend it well and it will last a lifetime, neglect it and it will definately deteriorate right before one's eyes.
Me in my sarong and doing a balancing act. Not the easiest of task i tell you.

Sumandak also doing doing her best to balance things.
Balancing act or not, we are both enjoying the sands & surf of time. Living the moment!

Intimate Moment

I spent Merdeka weekend with my sumandak soaking up the sun in Avillion PD.
This is the first time we had a holiday together without family or friends surrounding us. We are not being unfriendly, we just want and deserve a holiday just for US. It was good for the both of us as we had the weekend to ourselves and it allowed us to share our thoughts and moments with each other. It was also very relaxing as we didn't have to rush for others, we didn't even bother about time except to be early for breakfast cos the hotel was fully booked. We swam whenever we wanted to and ate when we were hungry. No bother. No worries.

Yellow Fellow

Watch out...the Yellow Fellow is here. He's got the gals goin for him...pretty soon he'll get the guys too. He is pretty enrolling i must say after all he is all over the place. :)

Salad

I have never been a fan of greens...eating them i mean. My dad used to say, "Only goats eat grass!", much to the displeasure of my mom who was forcing vegetables down our throats.

This pretty looking garden that i had for lunch...yes, yes, i had the damn thing for lunch, was had at the coffee house at the Boulevard hotel in KL. It was excellent i tell you. Hey people don;t change but we make new choices and this time i made the right one. Healthy and delicious. Go try it besides the coffee house is next to the pool and you get an eyefull too if you are lucky.
I love salads...especially when they taste this good!

Created with Love

Just as my day was drawing to an end and a long day at that too where orders were not coming in and sales is not at it's best, i make a stop at this coffee vendor at the FHM for a free cup of coffee. The sales personnel went over to the barrista and gets me a cup of cappucino and i find this person's heart in it. He has been making coffee all day and by the end of the day he still makes his cuppa with love and pride. On seeing the heart shape froth i was immediately lifted.
It made my day.

This is what i call Making a Difference!

Stoned

On my way to The Mandarin Oriental i bumped into this skateboarder immortalised in stone by a rather talented grafitti artist. Vandalism? Beats the heck out of having a gray stone slab in the middle of nowhere just being...nothing. Now it's a piece of art.
